PRODUCT WARRANTY: Our products are covered by the manufacturer warranties polices. Each product has specific conditions and we will let you know the conditions for your equipment. In general terms the warranties typically do not cover any inconvenience or consequential damage from a fault. The removal, re-installation or freight is not generally covered. The equipment may be repaired or replaced at the product manufacturer's discretion. Repair warranties are typically 3 months or the expiration of the spcified warranty period, whichever is the first. Receipt of purchase must accompany goods.

WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY: In the unlikely event of a workmanship problem we have the right to the first opportunity to resolve the problem. Should the fault be equipment or an unrelated problem to our installation then charges may apply.
Travel may also be charged for.

BOOKINGS: We will typically indicate an approximate day we can see you for an appoinment. This is followed up by confirming the appointment with you the evening prior to the available day. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation. Charges may apply if we are unable to fill your appointment time. Adverse weather may be exempt.

QUOTATIONS: As a general rule we do not provide quotations, but instead provide our honest best estimate based on prior experience. Our work is undertaken on the 'Do & Charge' system that reflects our hourly rate. This works best as mostly it is not economical to view each job or dismantle your vehicle to just take a look. Once on site if we believe the work may substantially exceed our estimate we will advise. If a quotation is provided it can be identified by a appearing on our company letterhead.

PAYMENT: All work and equipment must be paid for at the time the equipment or work is provided. We only accept Cash, or by prior arrangement Cheque. Ownership of goods does not pass until funds are cleared.
It is the sole responsibility of Trade Customers or representative to supply Work Orders as required. Enlisting Hardwire to undertake work without supplying appropriate work orders does not absolve that company from making payment within our terms.

VEHICLE ACCESS: Due to the nature of the equipment we carry we do not service properties accessed by unsealed roads. This may exclude well maintained driveways. Alternate sites may need to be arranged.  If we are unable to access the planned work site charges may be incurred associated with our time and travel. 

INSURANCE: We are covered for damages which we may cause in the course of our work, and that for Public Liability. It is expected that a safe work environment will be provided, and that vehicles are in a safe well maintained condition. It is the responsibility of the customer or vehicle owner to provide any induction necessary to enter the work site.

OUR WORK POLICY: All work is carried out to our standard and level that gives a safe and neat finish. Our work is not governed by what you paid for the equipment nor reflected in our charges. We urge customers to ask for a breakdown of approximate charges prior to work commencing if so required.
Should the customer provide their own equipment we cannot be expected to supply missing components unless we are previously notified. Additional callouts may prove uneconomical to you.
